In autumn Kyiv will welcome the ЕКОТЕХ first trade show-forum of ecologic technologies. The event will present for the first time innovational developments in environmental protection sphere and efficient nature management, which are highly important for modernization of domestic industrial enterprises, because ecologic situation in the country is almost disastrous.

Companies with outdated power-consuming technologies and equipment continue to pollute the environment. Only in Kyiv the amount of waste is growing in average 20% per year. The amount of household rubbish over the last 10 years increased in 40%. Annually about 12.5 million tonne of solid household rubbish appears. 270 kg of waste falls on each citizen, only 3 – 5% goes to the secondary cycle (in Europe — up to 80%), 4% is burnt, other rubbish — is dug in the refuse dump. 120 kg of harmful waste falls on each Ukrainian per year. More than 60% of polluted waste water is going into the water bodies without sufficient purification, other 40% are coming back to the water bodies without any purification at all. More then the half of all lands has soil erosion. High anthropogenic impact leads to the decrease of the life term of Ukrainian people, in average on 11 years, comparing to other European countries.

EKOTEX ecologic trade show-forum is aimed to create positive changes in the ecologic situation of Ukraine, to contribute to unification and development of the market of technologies for environment protection, solution of problems for introduction of ecologic standards at enterprises this year and creation of platform for professional communication and experience exchange.

International and domestic companies-exhibitors at ЕКОТЕХ will present at their booths equipment and technologies in waste management, waste waters purification, water preparation, air purification, polluted soils purification and wide range of services in ecology (nature protecting projects, standardization, planning, consultancy, ecologic management, audit and insurance, environment monitoring, ecological engineering etc).

Conferences on topical subjects: Waste Recycling, Water Purification, Dust Purification — are directed to become a platform for live communication of experts of the market, state authorities, municipal companies, industrial enterprises, developers and public organizations.
